Early education

The Sub-series consists of records from Lewis’ early education at Trinity College School including correspondence between the school and his parents, monthly grade reports and school event brochures. The Sub-series also consists undergraduate student English papers at McGill University, convocation booklet, academic reports and certificates, and correspondence from an early position Lewis held at the Ottawa Journal.

McGill education

File consists of convocation booklet for May 29th, 1941 with Lewis listed as “first class honors in language and literature.” Also consists of reports of standing with grades and matriculation certificates.

Ottawa journal period

File consists of correspondence indicating that Lewis held a summer job at the Ottawa Journal and was offered employment there after graduating from McGill. He manned the Sports Desk and later the Police/Fire beat prior to enlisting.

PTSD Research

File consists of photocopy of a journal, minutes of a meeting of the neuropsychiatrists, military reports (some incomplete) and related material on neuropsychiatry and battle fatigue.
