Fonds consists of records kept by Ronald Holcroft as keepsakes of his time spent at Stalag VIIIB (later Stalag-344) near Lamsdorf, Germany during WWII. Fonds also includes an unpublished memoir of his war experience written in 2014 with the help of his daughter.

The Gerald M. Beugin fonds consists of thirteen lined notebooks in which Beugin tracked the daily progress of WWII as it was recorded by the Free Press Prairie Farmer, a weekly publication of the Winnipeg Free Press. The fonds is comprised of one series: Notebooks.

Consists of a photo album containing a number of photographs and postcards, a collage of photos entitled “Pals”, several loose photographs and one telegram.

The photographs predominantly depict life on the ship. There are also a number of Prince Rupert postcards.
