File consists of manuscripts of two works tracing the history of Mennonites in Russia and their emigration to North America; and two booklets about Mennonites. Collection consists of typescript and holograph manuscripts of mathematical calculations, proofs, notes, diagrams and diary entries; and coloured slides of tiling diagrams of geometric shapes in various combinations and sequences. Mathematical subjects include hexagonal tiling and prime numbers. Titles on binders containing manuscripts include Tile, Twinlock, N-rep presentations, Hex, Penrose pair, N roots, Re-ordering of O-branch sets and Pythagorean (Hex) numbers play.

Fonds consists of Leon Bankoff's collection of material relating to a geometric figure, the 'arbelos'. Includes correspondence, primarily with other mathematicians including Clayton W. Dodge, Howard Eves, Leo Sauvé, and Charles W. Trigg; manuscripts including notebooks; published works; works by others; and material by and about M. Victor Thébault.

Collection consists of material collected by A. Ravel in researching and writing her doctoral dissertation, The dramatic world of Patricia Joudry (McGill University, 1984). Includes correspondence with P. Joudry and others; newsclippings about P. Joudry and reviews of her works; manuscripts of stage and television plays, novels and prose by P. Joudry; sound recordings of several of P. Joudry's radio plays and sound therapy tapes; and A. Ravel's research material, notes and preliminary work for her dissertation.

Collection consists of material relating to W.O. Mitchell's term as writer-in-residence for Winnipeg School Division No. 1, September 15, 1974 - November 30, 1974. Includes samples of student papers using "Mitchell's messy method of creative writing"; professional materials consisting of videotapes of seminars on creative writing for teachers; presentations for elementary, junior high and senior high students consisting of videotapes of the presentations and questions from the students; audio and video recordings of readings by W.O. Mitchell from his own work; and audio and video recordings of W.O. Mitchell discussing theme and character in several of his own works. Textual records consist of samples of student papers, listing of the audio and video recordings and bibliography of related materials collected in a kit for use by schools in Winnipeg School Division No. 1 as well as two scrapbooks containing articles and photographs documenting W.O. Mitchell's work for the shool division. Also includes material relating to the seventy-fifth convocation of Brandon University, Brandon, Manitoba, held November 9, 1974, at which Paul Hiebert, James Gray and W.O. Mitchell received honorary doctorates, particularly an audio tape of a symposium on creative writing by the three writers moderated by Brandon University chancellor Stanley Knowles, as well as photographs and newsclippings.

Collection consists of scene and costume design for operas, operettas, stage plays, films, revues and ballets, as well as for many unidentified productions. Many designs are undated. Design media include watercolour, gouache, pencil, charcoal and tempera. Designers represented include Percy Anderson (1851-1928), Georges Barbier (1882-1932), Alexandre Benois (1870-1960), Charles Betout (active ca. 1900-1939), Umberto Brunelleschi (1879-1949), Boris Bilinsky (1900-1948), Serge Soudeikine (1882-1946) and C. Wilhelm (1856-1925). Collection also includes Vanity Fair lithographs of actors and managers (ca. 1874-1912) and a series of engraved dramatic portraits.

Collection consists of British manuscript documents collected by E. Osborne relating to a variety of topics. Includes ballads, letters, play, parliamentary documents, speeches, petitions and applications for letters patent. Also includes 6 items (200?-2005) relating to MsC 132.27, unpublished play, variantly titled Marriage upon marriage, or As I told you before and The Humorous Magistrate. Also included are 10 copies of microfilm reels and transcriptions of images of an earlier version of The Humorous Magistrate and Osborne's annotations which are held at Arbury Hall in Warwickshire, UK. These micro films reels were acquired and transcribed as part of a SSHRC funded research project in 2008, led by Dr. Mary Polito, English Department University of Calgary. They were formally added to this collection in 2020.
