Collection consists of one album containing 529 autographs from leading 19th century figures, chiefly British, roughly separated into the sections of political figures, musicians, literary figures, visual artists, religious figures, performing artists, legal professionals, medical professionals, scientists, and philanthropists. Consists of a bound book of original letters and telegrams solicited by the Vancouver Sun on the occasion of the Sun presenting a painting of President Warren G. Harding in Stanley Park, Vancouver on July 26th, 1923. Harding's visit was the first visit of an American President to Canada. The letters and telegrams are expressions of goodwill between the two countries for friendship and peace.

The letters and telegrams received by the Vancouver Sun are from the Prime Minister of Canada (William Lyon Mackenzie King), governors of states, premiers of provinces, American and Canadian newspapers and universities.

Collection has been artificially created by combining four bookplate accessions.

Fonds consists of letters and postcards to F. K.Ginzkey, newsclippings about Ginzkey, dust jackets and promotional material. Also includes poems by Adolphine Reh(?) and Hubert von Beyer-Gerwald.

Fonds consists of correspondence with George Bowering, Margaret Atwood and other Canadian authors, chiefly relating to the special Margaret Atwood issue published by Malahat Review (no. 41, January 1977) and edited by L. Sandler; preliminary work, sound recordings, transcripts and several drafts of L. Sandler's Interview with Margaret Atwood, published in the special issue; drafts of the table of contents and preface written by L. Sandler; and draft of Tom Marshall's essay Atwood under and above water, also published in the special issue.

Collection consists of scene and costume design for operas, operettas, stage plays, films, revues and ballets, as well as for many unidentified productions. Many designs are undated. Design media include watercolour, gouache, pencil, charcoal and tempera. Designers represented include Percy Anderson (1851-1928), Georges Barbier (1882-1932), Alexandre Benois (1870-1960), Charles Betout (active ca. 1900-1939), Umberto Brunelleschi (1879-1949), Boris Bilinsky (1900-1948), Serge Soudeikine (1882-1946) and C. Wilhelm (1856-1925). Collection also includes Vanity Fair lithographs of actors and managers (ca. 1874-1912) and a series of engraved dramatic portraits.

Collection consists of letters from Sir Winston Churchill and Clementine Spenser Churchill; medals; published material relating to Churchill; portraits of Churchill; and photographs, moving images, sound recordings of and addresses by various individuals to the Sir Winston Churchill Society of Calgary.

Collection consists of material collected by A. Ravel in researching and writing her doctoral dissertation, The dramatic world of Patricia Joudry (McGill University, 1984). Includes correspondence with P. Joudry and others; bound volume of newspapers produced by Joudry's father; newsclippings about P. Joudry and reviews of her works; manuscripts of stage and television plays, novels and prose by P. Joudry; sound recordings of several of P. Joudry's radio plays and sound therapy tapes; and A. Ravel's research material, notes and preliminary work for her dissertation.
