Series consists of the professional papers of Henry Yorke Mann including correspondence, writings, articles, publications, photographs, certificates, and teaching materials. The series includes Mann’s professional correspondence regarding his architectural practice along with various writings and sketches he produced in the 1960s. There are also records relating to his position at the University of British Columbia as a faculty member in architecture and his position on the communications committee of the Architectural Institute of British Columbia. Most of the articles and publications about Mann’s architectural practice are included in the series, along with two copies of his own publication from 1996, A Time Bindment 1962-1969: Part of the God Dance: The Architecture of Henry Yorke Mann. Series consists of maps and technical drawings created by John Galt Engineering Company from 1903 to 1915. The drawings and maps document several important early water works and electrical projects across Saskatchewan, Alberta, and British Columbia. The series includes two drawings relating to the Brooks Aqueduct, over one hundred plans relating to the town of Kindersley water works, dam, and electrical systems. The records document some of the earliest engineering plans created in the prairies.
