Series contains photographic slides of architectural projects completed by J. Francis Brown and subsequent firms. Slides are arranged into five subseries based on the firm's development: J. Francis Brown, 1886-1929; J. Francis Brown & Son, 1926-1945; Bruce Brown & Brisley, 1946-1952; Brown, Brisley & Brown, 1952-1972; Brown, Brisley & Brown, from 1958. Note that only a selection of the slides were duplicated for CAA holdings.

Subseries contains photographic slides of residences, churches, and educational buildings in the Toronto, Ontario area done by J. Francis Brown. One slide is a portrait of J. Francis Brown. Architectural projects were completed between 1886 and 1929.
