There are over 800 projects represented in the fonds, including many of the firm’s residential, commercial, and educational buildings both in Vancouver and more broadly across B.C. and the rest of Canada. The fonds is divided into two series: 1. Project records and 2. Additional donations. Series 1. Project records is divided into 7 subseries: 1. Banks - drawings; 2. Other Commercial and Civic Projects - drawings; 3. Residences - drawings; 4. Schools - drawings; 5. Banks - files; 6. Miscellaneous Correspondence; and 7. Schools - files.

Fonds consists of records arranged into seven sousfonds. The Central Filing System sousfonds (1961-1995) contains correspondence, organizational charts, budgets, financial planning documents, committee minutes and reports, policy statements, annual reports, job descriptions, school calendars, program proposals, curriculum manuals and outlines, and agreements. The Director, School of Nursing sousfonds (1965-1995) contains proposals, feasibility studies, planning documents, correspondence, minutes, curriculum framework materials, course syllabi, reports, discussion papers, budgets and financial statements. The Supervisor, Adminsitrative Services sousfonds (1985-1995) contains correspondence, recommendations, planning documents, policy statements, minutes, financial statements and reports. The Manager, Program Resources sousfonds (1980, 1982-1984, 1986-1995) contains curriculum evaluation materials, clinical placement reuqests, course outlines, students and faculty orientation manuals, minutes, staffing analyses and job descriptions, and agreements with Foothills Hospital and other institutions. The Curriculm Coordinator sousfonds (1961, 1985-1990, 1992-1995) contains records related to the Calgary Conjoint Nursing Program including committee minutes, terms of reference, faculty meeting minutes, program and committee structure documents, and conceptual framework materials; and renovation project reports, contracts, project outlines and proposal, facilities analyses, correspondence, and architectural plans and sketches. The Manager, Student Affairs sousfonds (1963-1965, 1968-1995) contains annual reports; student and residence policy statements and regulations; graudation correspondence, minutes, programmes, photographs and budgets; Administration/Faculty/Student Liaison Committee correspondence and terms of reference; and awards correspondence, policy statements, terms of reference and recipient lists. The Registrar sousfonds (1975-1976; 1978, 1983-1994) contains registrar manuals which include policy statements and admission reports. Fonds also includes two general School of Nursing series: Course Materials (1971, 1975-1977, 1981, 1984-1985) of curriculum guides, master examinations, instructional photographs, assessment guides, course study guides and outlines, and a student orientation package; and Photographs (1968, 1970-1995) containing photographs of aspects of the Diploma Program and Calgary Conjoint Nursing Program, School events and facilities, graduation ceremonies (1968, 1970-1995), studnet activities and lab practise, and faculty and staff.

F. Bruce Brown fonds

Fonds consists of architectural drawings and photographs documenting the architectural works of J. Francis Brown, his son, F. Bruce Brown, and their subsequent firms, Bruce Brown & Brisley, Brown Brisley & Brown, Douglas Bruce Brown, and Brown Beck & Ross. The fonds includes early drawings by J. Francis Brown from 1890 to 1900 for the Monroe County Courthouse, the proposed B.C. Legislative Buildings, and a Triumphal Arch in Toronto. There are twenty-two student drawings by F. Bruce Brown from 1920 to 1922. The fonds includes photographs of architecture in France, Italy, and England taken by F. Bruce Brown while he studied at the Fontainebleau School of Fine Arts (1923-1924). There are copies of 189 colour slides documenting projects designed by the architects from 1886 to 1972. The slides are copies of photographs taken by F. Bruce Brown. The fonds notably also includes 1,765 architectural drawings for over eighty church projects the architects designed in Ontario from 1936 to 2006. The churches are mainly located in Toronto and the surrounding area, and are almost entirely Protestant churches. The drawings include preliminary proposal drawings, architectural working drawings, and perspective drawings. Among the notable projects documented in the fonds are McMaster Divinity College, All Saints Church Kingsway, Islington United Church, Bloor Street United Church, Leaside United Church, Kingsway-Lambton United Church, Parkdale United Church & Residence, St. Matthew's Anglican Church, St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church (Cobourg), and St. Giles Presbyterian Church. The architectural drawings include several perspective drawings created by the renowned Canadian sculptor William McElcheran, who was employed by Bruce Brown & Brisley as liturgical designer in the 1950s. The fonds contains five series: Series 1: J. Francis Brown drawings 1890-1900; Series 2: F. Bruce Brown student drawings 1920-1922; Series 3: F. Bruce Brown photographs 1923-1924; Series 4: F. Bruce Brown photographs of projects; and Series 5: Project records – Drawings.
