Includes fragments of two articles eventually published in the Globe and Mail in 1977 with titles A Canada-India literary link in need of help and Race incidents make India wary of Canada, many fragments of Lunar attractions, mainly the concluding sections; Delhi letter, an unpublished article on the Indian general election, a short story fragment titled See Paris and die; fragments of an article on whites in India titled Occult blood; and notes for a seminar presentation at Jadavpur University about Canadian literature and biculturalism. Also includes Bharati Mukherjee's Guggenheim application proposal and a proposal to the Canadian High Commission regarding the export of Canadian culture.

All of the items in this file are variant versions of the description of the wedding of Bharati Mukherjee's cousin in I, 14, of Days and nights in Calcutta. One version was submitted to Canadian Broadcasting Corporation for possible use on Anthology (see letter, MsC 41.4.4.20, (1975 June 17) from Robert Weaver to C. Blaise); other versions were used for readings at McGill University, Carlton University and the Double Hook Bookstore.
