McCarter and William Leithead of McCarter Nairne & Partners; William Edgar Noffke , son of architect Werner Ernst Noffke; J.C. Parkin and Doug Rowland of John B. Parkin/NORR (Firm); Hugh Wyndham Seton; D. Shadbolt; G.L.T. Sharp of Thompson, Berwick, Pratt & Partners ; and John Stevenson of Stevenson and Raines.
There is also one recording of a class lecture given by Arthur Erickson in a course taught by Dr. Michael McMordie in the Faculty of Environmental Design (EVDS) at the University of Calgary. Typed transcripts exist for the interviews by H. Kalman with John Y. McCarter and William Leithead, and by J. Peach with John Stevenson.
Kalman, HaroldConsists of five scale models made for the Jeffrey Lindsay and Fuller Research Foundation Canadian Division themed exhibition Montréal et le rêve géodésique/Montreal’s Geodesic Dreams. Curated by Cammie McAtee with Carlo Carbone and Réjean Legault, the exhibition was held at the Centre de design, École de design, Université du Québec à Montréal, from September 21 until December 10, 2017. The models, along with full-scale details and a prototype dome, were designed and constructed by Carlo Carbone and his students in the design research laboratory Studio Cube of the École de design, UQAM. Students who collaborated on the construction of these models include Maxime Beaulieu, Julien Daly, Daniel Demay, Laurent Fouillet, and James Luca Pinel.
Carbone, CarloThe Donovan and Eunice Joan Williams Church Slide collection contains over 2,000 slides of churches from across Canada, compiled in the late 1980s and early 1990s. The majority of the churches date from the late 19th century to 1945, with few being built post-1945.
This collection includes images of Anglican, Presbyterian, United, Catholic, Ecumenical, Lutheran, African Orthodox, Ukrainian Roman Catholic, Wesleyan, Baptist, Greek Orthodox, Unitarian, Mennonite, and Zion denominational churches.
