Abstracts, advances

Files consist of abstracts and advance or preliminary descriptions of papers that appear to have been produced for discussion at the Working Meeting of the IBP in Warsaw, 1966. The abstracts are from a number of countries including the United States, Czechoslovakia, Poland, France, Scotland, USSR, England and Denmark. The abstracts are related to biodiversity, food chains, animal biometrics.

Canadian committee of the international biological programme (IBP)

Files consist of correspondence, reports on the Canadian contribution to the IBP, news releases, minutes of meetings, reports on projects, newsletters of the Alberta Conservation of Terresterial Communities CT subcommittee (renamed the Alberta Ecological Survey after 1974 when the IBP was dissolved), and correspondence on the Productivitiy of Terrestial Communities PT subcommittee of which Cragg was a member. See description for files 01.05-01.07. Also includes reports on the Devon Island Project and the Matador Project.

Cragg correspondence with IBP office

Files consists of Cragg's correspondence with the main IBP office in his roles as Convener IBP Section PT, and later as member of the Publications Committee. Correspondents are Gina Douglas of the main office, Dr. M.J. Hadley, Scientific Coordinator of the PT section, Dennis Parkinson of the University of Calgary who was Theme Coordinator for Decomposition Processes in the PT section, and Barton Worthington, Scientific Director of the IBP.

General

File consists of correspondence about the IBP, pamphlets with "Statements from the Special Committee for the IBP" explaining the programme, a review of the program (1969), correspondence about the dissolution of the IBP in June 1974 and the creation of a Publications Committee for an additional period of time.
