Consists of:
One three-page letter sent by Allan from France to his brothers Burritt and Warde Allen in Calgary, October 26, 1917. With envelope.
Five letters sent by Allen from France to his aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. H.C. Brennan in Ottawa, Ontario.
Two photographs: one portrait of Allan in uniform, one of Allan's headstone.


Consists of:

  1. Military Cross. Awarded "For Conspicuous Gallantry" during action at the Battle of Vimy Ridge.
  2. Victory Medal.
  3. British War Medal. Two Mentioned in Dispatch oak leaf sprays affixed to ribbon.
  4. Memorial Cross.

One copy "War Record of McGill Chapter of Delta Upsilon" (Montreal, 1919). Document lists all members of this fraternity chapter who died in World War One. Entry for Allan is on page 4.
