Fonds consists of material gathered or created by Beatrice Ross. All records pertain to Ross's experience as a soldier in the Canadian Women's Army Corps during WWII.

Ross, Beatrice Claudie

Correspondence

Consists, predominantly of form letter correspondence sent to Beatrice Ross related to her military discharge following the end of WWII. Also includes several Christmas cards.

Elda "Austie" Whyte's Photos

Originally housed in an envelope from sender Elda Whyte. 4 photoduplicates of what appears to be Canadian Women’s Army Corps soldiers during training ca. WWII. Photos labelled on recto or with accompanying note. Includes note from Elda Whyte to Beatrice Ross.

Ephemera

Series consists of military related items collected by Ross during or after her service in the Canadian Women’s Army Corps. Items include: song sheets, dinner menus, receipts, and Victory Bond certificates, [Haines Cottage name badge and attendance list?]

Group and Unit Photos

File consists of: one unit photo of 2 Motor Ambulance Convoy R.C.A.S.C., June 1944; colour photoduplicates of the 23rd C.W.A.C. Reunion with accompanying name index; three images of a stage performance, “A20 Pin-up Girls”, featuring C.W.A.C. members.

Originally housed in an envelope from sender Kay Dallman. 13 black and white photographs, some photoduplicate, some with written identification on either verso or recto.

15 black and white photographs, originally housed in a green Kodak envelope, some labelled on verso, depicting various C.W.A.C. soldiers engaged in military and civilian duties.
