Biographical history

Canadian musician, composer, arranger and conductor William Alexander McCauley was born in Tofield, Alberta, on February 14, 1917. Died in Alliston, Ontario, on May 18, 1999. Biographical information available in Encyclopedia of music in Canada. 2nd ed., p. 824.
