Name of creator
Canadian composer, conductor, radio producer and educator Srul Irving Glick was born in Toronto, Ontario, on September 8, 1934. Died in Toronto on April 17, 2002. Biographical information available in Encyclopedia of music in Canada. 2nd ed., p. 532-533.
Donated by S.I. Glick between 1989 and 2002. Accessions 749/03.14, 779/04.29, 800/05.21 and 898/12.15 donated by Sara R. Wunch in 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2012. MsC 313 and 316 donated by Anne (Honey) Mitchell (a Kol Shira chorister) in 2005 and 2006.

Scope and content
Fonds consists of correspondence, contracts, newsclippings and other miscellaneous material, chiefly relating to Canadian Broadcasting Corporation music programs produced by S.I. Glick; manuscripts of CBC radio scripts of music programs produced by S.I. Glick; manuscript sketches and scores of instrumental, orchestral and vocal works; sound recordings of a variety of music including compositions by S.I. Glick; conference papers; concert programs; and awards. Fonds also includes two appendices. MsC 313 consists of 15 audiocassettes which are amateur recordings of S.I. Glick rehearsing and teaching (1994-2001) the Kol Shira Choir of Beth Tikvah Synagogue. MsC 316 consists of an audiocassette recording of a tribute to S.I. Glick broadcast on CBC Radio, April 22, 2002.
