Freelance writer and broadcaster. Born in 1948 in Newcastle, South Africa. Educated at University of Witwatersrand, Dalhousie University and the University of Toronto. Staff journalist in 1970s for the Financial Post, specializing in financial economics. Winner of Walter Bagehot Fellowship in economics and business journalism from Columbia University in 1980. Published in various Canadian periodicals.
Acquired in 1977 from L. Sandler.

Sandler's Interview with Margaret Atwood, published in the special issue; drafts of the table of contents and preface written by L. Sandler; and draft of Tom Marshall's essay Atwood under and above water, also published in the special issue.
