Biographical history

Canadian author, editor, journalist and legislator Harold Horwood was born in St. John's, Newfoundland, on November 2, 1923 and died in Halifax, Nova Scotia, on April 16, 2006. Biographical information available in The Oxford companion to Canadian literature, 2nd ed., p. 549-551.
