Biographical history

The Department of Mechanical Engineering was established in the Faculty of Engineering in 1966. In 1990, the Division of Manufacturing Engineering was established within the Department of Mechanical Engineering. In 1998, the department was renamed the Department of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering.
In 2005, the Faculty of Engineering was renamed Schulich School of Engineering.
