Poet and author. Born in London, England in 1933. Moved to California from British Columbia in the 1960s. Member of the TISH group of Canadian West Coast poets. Biographical information available in Contemporary authors, new rev. ser., v. 16, p. 45.

Fonds consists of letters from poets Earle Birney, George Bowering, Frank Davey, David Dawson, Al Purdy and others, discussing poetry, the TISH poetry group and various other topics; letters from Louis Dudek, Fred Cogswell and Victor Coleman relating to D. Bromige's submission of poetry to various periodicals for publication consideration; correspondence with Atlantic Monthly relating to a poem by G. Bowering published in that periodical; and manuscripts of poetry by G. Bowering and an analysis by D. Bromige of G. Bowering's poem The red hot element.
