Historia biográfica
Henry George, 1864-1932, was born in Kirton-in-Lindsay, England and trained as a physician before coming to Calgary in 1889. He practiced with Dr. Neville Lindsay and was surgeon to "E" division of the North-West Mounted Police (NWMP), the Canadian Pacific Railway (CPR) and the Stoney, Blackfoot and Sarcee (Tsuut'ina). He moved to Innisfail, Alberta in 1893 and to Red Deer, Alberta in 1907. He was medical officer to the battalions stationed at Red Deer in First World War. He retired to Victoria, British Columbia in 1922.
He married Barbara Mary Bernard, 1867-1936, in London in 1888 and they had 12 children, Albert Ewen, 1899-1901, Desmond St. Clair, 1894-1916, Barbara Mary (Macdonald), 1896-1920, Henry Bernard, 1889-?, Ernest Scudamore, 1893-1962, Charles Llewellyn, 1891-?, Frederick Morton, 1895-?, William Godfrey Septimus, 1907- , Norah Helen (Heeney), 1898-?, Vivian Lizette (Gray), 1901-?, Henriette Caroline Alice (Day), 1904-1990, and Yule Christine, 1910- . His hobby was the collecting native artifacts and natural history specimens, and he built a museum in Red Deer to house them. His collection was donated to the City of Calgary on his death.

George (1950-1960); and genealogical and biographical notes on Dr. George.
