Biographical history

Calgary, Alberta hosted its first Grey Cup Festival in November 1975, when the Canadian Football League final between the Edmonton Eskimos and the Montreal Alouettes took place in the city. A variety of events were held in conjunction with the game, including a dinner, the Schenley Awards, the Miss Grey Cup Pageant, the Grey Cup Parade, and many "breakfasts, brunches and bashes". The material in this collection was gathered by Doug Johnson of the Calgary Tourist and Convention Association.
