Biographical history
Esau Roland Davis, 1891-?, was born in Toronto. He was a farmer and ranch hand who lived for a number of years in the Claresholm area of Alberta. He worked for the Charles M. Grobe threshing outfit and on the McComb Ranch on Schaffer (Meadow) Creek. He served in First World War as a private in the 1st Depot Battalion (Alberta Regiment).
