Biographical history

The Department of Microbiology and Infectious Diseases was formed in 1981 in the Faculty of Medicine. Sometime after 1994, the name was changed to the Department of Microbiology, Immunology and Infectious Diseases. In 2014, the Faculty of Medicine was renamed Cumming School of Medicine.
