        Thomas Dalzell, 1882-1964, was born in Ontario and moved to Alberta in 1905. In 1908 he married Dollie Douglas, 1886-1970, daughter of Thomas and Ann Douglas and they first settled near Carbon, Alberta. Later they lived in Calgary where Thomas worked for the Pacific Cartage Company followed, in 1911, with a move to Pine Creek. In 1919 they moved near De Winton, Alberta where Tom drove the De Winton express and hauled milk. Thomas and Dollie had one daughter, Jessie (Carothers). Close family friend Albertine Harkley, 1895-1971, married Calgary photographer Matt Park, 1892-1960.
