  • MsC 31 Correspondence with family, friends, writers, admirers, literary agents, editors, publishers, producers, directors, playwrights, educators, lawyers, clergymen, critics, and other officials. Consists of two subseries: correspondence by title and general correspondence. Correspondence by title is arranged alphabetically by form (fiction followed by non-fiction) and chronologically within the form. Correspondence for each title is divided into business-related correspondence and reader-related correspondence. General correspondence consists of several miscellaneous files including an agents' file; an awards' file; a file relating to various university affiliations; contracts arranged alphabetically by form and title; royalty statements arranged alphabetically by title, then chronologically.

  • MsC 31 Moore filed correspondence for his major works by published title and this arrangement ahs essentially been maintained although a general correspondence sub-series has been created from Moore's subject files for letters that do not deal with specific titles.
  • MsC 49 correspondence for each title is further divided by personal and corporate name arranged alphabetically to create more manageable files and provide fuller description for the correspondence. Reader-related material (i.e., fan mail) for each title is filed under Brian Moore.
