        Delores Salome Carder, 1931- , was the granddaughter of Thomas Frederick Pope, 1846-1931, one of the original North West Mounted Police members to arrive in Alberta in 1874. He was a nephew of a member of the Macdonald government, the Hon. John Henry Pope. He was a cousin of Senator Rufus Henry Pope and a relative of Thomas Henry Pope, a Father of Confederation. Delores compiled genealogical information and collected photographs of the family.
