Name of creator
Calgary St. Andrew's Golf Club was formed in Calgary, Alberta in 1912 when a group of Calgary golfers decided that the city needed another golf course and purchased land from the Riley family in the northwest at 24th Street and 7th Avenue. A large clubhouse was built on the southeast corner of the course and the official opening was in May 1913. By 1942 membership began to decline and the course was closed in 1945.
