Name of creator
The Calgary Foreman's Club was established in Calgary, Alberta in the 1950s to provide a forum for interaction and discussion of management problems among managers at Calgary's industrial plants. This was done through monthly meetings, plant tours, publication of a newsletter and an annual management conference in Banff. The Club was affiliated with the Calgary YMCA and the Council of Industrial Management Clubs of Canada. In the late 1960s the name was changed to Industrial Management Clubs of Canada, Calgary branch.
