Biographical history
Harry Graham Barker, 1894-1959, was born in Carman, Manitoba and attented Manitoba Agricultural College in 1914-1915. He served as a gunner in the First World War in the 78th Depot Battery. His family had moved to Okotoks, Alberta in 1906 and after some years Harry moved to Turner Valley to work. His sister Anna Barker, 1900-1998, married H. J. Trenholm. Hinson Joseph Trenholm, 1896-1951, was born in Port Elgin, New Brunswick. He served in the First World War, in the 1st Depot Battalion, Nova Scotia Regiment, and returned to Canada in 1919. He later moved to Alberta where he worked in the gas plant in Turner Valley.
