Biographical history

Alvin Francis Bullock, 1906-1993, was born in Welling, Alberta. He spent two and a half years as a Mormon missionary in Ohio and Michigan, USA. On his return he married Augusta Anna Schneidt and they had three children, Gerald, Dennis and Joan. They settled in Welling where Bullock farmed. He served on the Cardston School Division board for 22 years, and was on the board of governors of the University of Lethbridge, 1967-1970. He sat as the Social Credit member for Cardston in the Alberta Legislature from 1967 to 1970.
