Series consists of subject files created by the Advisor to the President on the Status of Women including: information on the President's Action Committee on Campus Child Care and the daycare; Employment Equity Committee (1990-1991); climate for women at universities; date rape; campus safety; gender equity and gender inclusive language; media coverage of women's issues from the Gauntlet and the Gazette; correspondence and newsletters from organizations on campus including Network of Women Staff (NEWS), Women's Council and Network, the Women's Resource and Collective Centre; Women in Science and Engineering (WISE), Academic Women's Association, Faculty Women's Club, GLASS, and the Graduate Women's Network; pamphlets on the Women's Guide the University Services; information on sexual harassment; statistical information; correspondence, reports and responses to the Women in the Nineties report; and correspondence with faculties and departments on women's issues. The photos in file 04.07 shows painting the Rock to commemorate December 6th and building the Faculty of Law sculpture that commemorates the same event, display for Violence Awareness Week, and two photos of Mary Valentich with W.O. Mitchell. Individuals identified in the photographs are Rosanna D'Agnetti, Doris Dirks, Gail Daniels, Patricia Okahashi, Jim Gripton, and Donna Ferrara-Kerr, the first Sexual Harassment Advisor.
